Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men, striking approximately 165,000 men each year nationwide, with about 30,000 dying of the disease.  Prostate cancer develops mainly in older men and in African-American men, and about 1 man in 9 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime.  Caught early, prostate cancer can be treated, usually successfully.

Remember: In early stages, prostate cancer has no symptoms, so it is important to get routine screenings.
